Someone I know goes to Manchester and he only has three lectures a week, and they're all on Wednesday. He says it interrupts two great weekends on either side.

In first year in Scotland you have to take three subjects; usually the one you picked, a linked discipline and a third completely random subject of your choice.

Example; a friend of mine is doing computing, physics and maths.
Another is doing; biology, earth sciences and physics.

A third is taking english, scottish literature, and philosophy the last of which he got a C ( or was it a B ) in after attending a grand total of three lectures all year.

I know he's celibate and all but I'm sure in his younger days he had all the little polish girls swooning.

He used to be a goalkeeper for a Polish team... I guess he was more into handling balls than young Polish girls...

Anyway, Pols are great :smile:

Sorry about this, 'cos I know I'm wrecking the party, but I'm a bit worried about having my photo with my name (and my birthdate and my possible future Unis and my home area and my personal views about everything) on the Net. I'll maybe find the nerve after August 10 :rolleyes:
