1) I don't live on King's Parade.
2) Mr C works in Shropshire.
3) Mr C would not see me just to give me painkillers. I can buy them myself.
4) I'm 20
5) I'm a medic, and not stupid enough to phone 999 for that.
6) Wrong time

Cambridge students with common sense? I don't think so.
There are many many people (mainly compscis) who prove that being good at a subject isn't the same as being good at playing life.

Oh and rosie, before you run out to newmarket road, remember to try Lakeland. I was looking at tin openners in there the other day, I don't know if it was electric, but it was £7 so it must have had something special about it! (It was too expensive, I took one look at the price and left!)

Ah I see your point.

That was the 10000th post on the thread.
Surely this thread must be the biggest now?

I did look at lakeland.. they dont have an electric ones. the one you were looking at was the automatic magican i think, which is the same as the one I have (much easier to use than the uber-crappy all metal ones) b ut a bit more exciting. autorelease button or something,

but yeah they don sell any electric ones.

Fear not, next time I go home where we actually have shops in sensible locations i will procure one. Comet has one for under £10 which is a worthwhile invest ment for me. We would have got one at home except there was usually always someone around to open tins for me !
