Temporary (1 month) Accommodation near Sheffield University
Hi all,
I have finally accepted the offer to do postgrad in Sheffield.
As my fiancé has plan to visit me during my 1 year study, perhaps for a duration of 5-6 months, I am planning to rent a studio or 1 bedroom flat.
However, this is going to my first time to Sheffield (and UK actually). It will be tedious to look for a property to rent than to just settle with student accommodation, but it is worth it.
So, I will arrive in Sheffield perhaps a week before the course starts. Any suggestion on where I can get a temporary accommodation (for myself only) for a month while being there to scout for 11-12 months studio/1bedroom flat around the area? (trust for postgrad, the course starts in September 2016 and ends in August/ September 2017 instead of June 2017?)
Hope you guys can help out, your info and tips is greatly appreciated.
