Gap Medics - When is the best time?

I turned 15 in June and I am away to start 4th Year in Scotland. I am interested in doing a 2 week placement with Gap Medics next summer when I am 16. My school runs a World Challenge scheme which I will have the opportunity to do when I am 17 in the summer of 2018. I would like to do Gap Medics next summer and my World Challenge the year after. Is 16 years old too young for Gap Medics?

No, 16 is a very good age to apply for a Gap medics experience!
Have you thought about where you want to go yet?

I'm considering going on an expedition although I'm not sure where to go yet!

That's excellent! I personally wouldn't want to go so far away from home so I will probably consider the Warsaw, Poland expedition. I like urban, colourful places so Warsaw seems like the obvious choice for me!
I'm thinking about taking part in either medicine or dentistry. I'm sure it will be great
16 isn't too young I went to Tanzania with Gap Medics at that age and it was amazing, there are quite a few 16 year old who go.
