Access to HE with learndirect (24+ loan)

Hiya,

I've just signed up to the Access to Higher Education Diploma with learndirect. It's going to be funded with the 24+ loan, does anyone know how long this process takes? I've sent the application form for the course today.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone else has joined up with this company? The modules look really interesting.

Studying in my mid 20s with a young family, hoping to go to uni next year or the year after (they say a month per module and there's 20).

There were so many different pathways I struggled to choose, as the Uni's seem quite flexible about entry requirements.

Be nice to talk to some other learndirect students if there are any?!

Hello

I was told by learndirect there were issues with student finance 24+ loan dept and not to send application, did you manage to submit the form ok ?

Have you managed to start the course yet? I applied online yesturday for the access to HE ....im a mum of 3 young boys 7,5,10months .... hoping to do this course and possibly take a yr out untill youngest starts nursery then apply for uni x
