Which University to Choose??

Hi,

I have offers from two universities for the Postgraduate course MSc Occupational therapy (pre-registration) (London South Bank and University of Derby). I have been looking at rankings and comments and I got very confused to which one is the right choice. Any advise would be appreciated

Look at the course content first. Modules won't be exactly the same, even in courses with a common professional goal. There may be styles of teaching or assessment which particularly appeal, or which you'd rather avoid. Are there researchers at either uni who are interested in something you might like to specialise in? It would be good to have someone like that as a dissertation/independent research project supervisor.

If cost is an issue, it will be very much more expensive to live in London than Derby. Also, their characters are different. Derby is a smaller, quieter, provincial city with easy access to countryside and the uni campus is on the outskirts. London is a hectic, bustling city with lots to do and central transport links, with the South Bank campus right in the city. There may be that kind of practical consideration for you.

Thank you I thought of all the above apart from the research part; this was a great advise
