Contactless card beeped twice!
Hi, I was using my card at tesco's today and when I went to swipe to pay, the machine reader beeped twice.
The lady said you usually have to insert your PIN but my question is what does the beep actually mean?
Is it because I spent too much, or too often, or something else?

I know for my bank there is something on he website saying occasionally you have to enter your pin for safety or something like that.. no big deal.

Random security check, to make sure nobody's nicked your card.
