Hi,
I am planning to apply for biomedical science in a few months but I would like to read some books to enhance my personal statement, so does anyone have any book recommendations for biomedical science?

Oxford has a suggested reading list for Biomedical Sciences here, although nothing outside the first or last sections are likely to be helpful or relevant to you at this point. The Human Sciences reading list here may also provide some interesting alternate viewpoints on some things as well. Some of the Biochemistry reading suggestions here may also be relevant in terms of general bioscience reading.

The Cancer Virus was a magnificent read for me. I'll probably reread it whenever I have the chance. It's about 200 pages long, so it's relatively short as well.
