Payslip confusion

I've been off sick for a few weeks . I know I wouldn't get the full amount but I am entitled to sick pay . My question is that in the left box is shows my sick pay but my net pay is minus 11.37 . Is there a reason for this ? Or does it depend on companies ? Does this mean I won't get paid anything ? Payday is tomorrow and I have work tomorrow , just stressed out because I won't be able to get to work . Any help will be appreciated. Btw I know to speak to the boss but they're a Monday to Friday operation and I didn't receive my payslip until end of working day Friday . Thanks

What does your contract say?

First of all, if you are on sick pay which is around £90 a week providing you haven't used your 28 weeks of sick pay up. The post is vague some companies enhance sick pay so you may have 3 months at full and 3 months at half pay.

Secondly companies can not deduct National Insurance unless your gross pay (before deductions) is above £157 a week and tax isn't deducted unless you earn over £221 a week.

Do you have a pension or union deductions coming out your wages?

Also if in doubt if you are in a union ask the union for advice, if not as 999tiger said CAB or ACAS are your best bet

I may be way off the mark here but have you taken any holidays?
Saying that i'm not sure how it works if you've taken holidays then call in sick as you technically haven't accurred the holiday

I have checked my contract and I am entitled to ssp . my payslip clearly states the amount of sick pay I would get . But on the net pay it is minus 11.37 . Just worried cos I won't be able to get to work and still haven't received anything . Thanks
