Student Bank Account and lying
I opened a student account with barclays before searching for other banks , due to having a saving and a current account with them. Barclays doesn't really give any goodies when you open with them, however HSBC gives you 60 pounds amazon voucher and they pay for your amazon student prime. however they won't accept you if you have a student account with another bank. Will it be ok if i lied about having one.

That would be a fraud. Why not close Barclays down and just reopen at HSBC?

Go for it! Banks are crooks anyway. This is a kind of innocent lie that ain't going to harm anyone and the banks don't deserve any sympathy.
