Can I take A Level English Language in Northern Ireland?
I've been interested is taking it along with other A levels but there doesn't seem to be many offers up for it. I have found an international online course for it but can I take the exams in N.Ireland? My dad said he couldn't when he was younger and would have had to take the exam in England.
Sorry if i'm being completely ignorant [ not unusual for me, i'm afraid] but I thought A Level English meant English Literature? I didn't think there WAS an A Level in "normal" English, like GCSE? Just looked at my son's old school's [ in Co. Armagh] list of A Levels and they offer A Level English Literature.
