Doing double for an assessment.

Hi, I'm a social science student, but there's a computing course run for us.
It was very complex and the teacher made it very challenging. UGs, and PGs are mixed in which makes it harder too.
But I've coped well.

For the assessment, we were told to choose 1 of 3 options, do the analyses, and write it all up. Each option had 3 research questions. I've actually been doing the work for 2 options.

What if I were to just make a longer article, including both options? There is no word limit. Is this a good idea. It deviates from the instructions, but could show my initiative, eagerness, ability to do double the work in a short space of time. I could get better marks, etc.

On the other hand, teacher may be annoyed as it will just seem more work for him to mark.

What do you think folks?
