Did a creative media course at college but want to do Ancient History at university

I didn't get a chance to do history at college, so I did creative media lvl 3 instead. I do a lot of research on Ancient Rome and Classical Greece and even have my own blog dedicated to it. Would I be considered as I do my own personal research on the subject, even without studying at college?

I think there's many ancient history degrees that don't ask for specific a levels but might want essay subjects so you could look at foundation years perhaps.
