I'm currently in my first year of a 4 year degree that includes a year abroad studying in America. The real dream is to become a lecturer at an American college/univeristy. I'm fully aware that it's going to be a long and difficult journey but does anyone have any ideas on what the best way to do it would be?

Thank you

Your best way of researching is look at university vacancies and the qualifications required.

Depends on where in America you wish to teach. Each state is different so you would need to the look at the requirements of the state you are interested in. You would also need a visa. Your best bet would be to look at international schools as there tends to be a lot more lee-way especially in regards to getting sponsored for a visa. Healthcare is also something you would want to look into, for obvious reasons :-)

That's a good point and not something I'd considered.
