Multi academic year 17/18 student finance

hi there I have been told 2 separate things from SFE can anyone please clarify which is correct. So... started uni sep 17 Operation Department Practitioner course. Withdrew Feb 18.
Applied for nursing march 18 and got accepted.
SFE SAY finance can start again as a separate finance as adult nursing is an exemption from the normal rules. (These being if you move from one course to another say science and math then the finance is continuous)
is nursing an exemption can I apply from March for funding rather than waiting for the second set of payments which everyone else gets in July ?
