sociology PhD

Hey! Has anyone heard from the Sociology department regarding PhD admissions? I originally applied for POLIS, but they replied some weeks ago saying my application was diverted to the Sociology department (which I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad sign), but haven’t heard anything yet. I already emailed the department three times, but no luck yet . . . Anyone with a similar case?
