Foundation Degree Student Finance
My current decision for my firm choice is a Biochemistry MSci with a Placement Year. My insurance is a Foundation Degree applying with the same uni but taught at a college, it allows entry into 2nd year of a biology course or first year of Biochemistry, my first choice, both can be 3 years (BSci), 4 years (BSci with placement year OR MSci) or 5 years (MSci with Placement Year)
Say I went on to do this foundation course, if I were to; 1- go on to start second year of the biology degree; 2- go on to start from fresh the Biochemistry degree; What would be my situation for student finance for the foundation degree and the second undergrad degrees, of the varying lengths (all results depending but I’d choose to do an MSci and a Placement year, so 5 years)?
(This is in NI and my family income is at the level for the maximum maintenance grant)
