Are mobile speed cameras aloud to do this?
hi,
when driving through a village today i saw a mobile speed camera van parked right next to speed change sign. the road was a 30mph and he was parked right in front of the 40mph speed sign at end of road:
{30mph}______________________===>_____________(police van) {40mph}
i luckily spotted it and waited to pass the police then sped up to 40.
but i feel this is not right because people who come from the 40mph road will be slowing down at about 35 as the reach the sign(30 from their side) and people from my side will be speeding up again reaching about 35 as the pass the (40) sign. that is such a exploitable spot on the road.
anyone with good understanding of road laws, is this exploit by the police aloud?
