Really struggling to revise?

Hi,

I’m doing my a levels and I’m in year 13, and I’m studying history, politics and English. With English there is no issue, but with history and politics I just can’t remember anything no matter how hard I revise! It just seems like there’s a fog in my brain whenever I try to think of any content of the history and politics course. My teachers are no help (but that’s another story) and I just need some guidance on how to try and get through this fog in my brain :/ thanks
