can i take a level dance if i have little experience? i did ballet for almost 5 years when i was in year 2-6 but i quit because i didn't want to seem like a 'girly girl' to the girls in my primary school. i haven't done any form of dance since then and im in year 10 now, would i have any chance of pursuing dance as an a level or should i just give it up and find something else? ballet was the only style tried.

Look at the specification and talk to the teacher to assess whether you think you could cope.
