Hi all, I need some major help with my EPQ project. My project is basically about how mental health is affected by computer gaming. Can you all please tell me your opinions on it. The project is worth 50 marks and I want to aim for 30 so any help would be much appreciated.

Do some research first as you need to familiarise yourself with the subject matter. So read as many articles as you can on computer gaming + mental health.

Think about how it affects you?

Positives, wellbeing, excitement, sociability, friendships etc.
Think about negative claims addiction, depression, violence.
What is the true story behind them?

Once you have a good idea on the area then you can start to think about possible areas to specialise and possible angles. You can then narrow down which arrea and how you wont to approach the mental health aspect of video games.

The quality of the research and how you do it helps towards forming a sound base and writing a good essay. Also read articles and look at the spec for EPQ to see where the marks are.
