IMG who wants to do a residency program in the uk
I’m an IMS from Algeria (about to graduate, currently doing my internship which is 12 months long. I will be finishing by September 2019 ). I’m looking for ways to attend a residency program in the uk. Through what i’ve been able to understand after doing some research on google, i need to do a 2 years foundation program in order to able to practice here. I need further informations about that. You might have to explain a bit more about what you want, the acronyms may not be understood (or maybe it's just me!).
What is an IMG? What is an IMS?
What sort of residency programme do you need (is this a medical thing?)
Where are you hoping to practice, UK or Algeria?
