How much money does it cost to retake 3 A Levels at school? How is this different from college?

Do you mean resit (just the exams) or retake ( all the lessons as well)?

Resits you would have to ask the school and it depends on subject. It is by no means certain they will allow you to resit at the school and you may need to find a private exam centre.

It costs Exam fee (goes to the exam board for marking it) + Centre fee( for using their facility under exam conditions and admin) + additional special fees ( practicals and orals).

Not all subjects can be resat at a private exam centre.

Typical resit would be about £220-£350 for an all exam A level, but science A levels can be much more expensive if you havent passed the practical endorsement. IT can add another £800-£1400 to the price depending on provider and location.

Best advice is ask your exam officer or head of sixth to see if they are open to the idea or not.
