Resigning on your Masters Loan

Hi !I would like to know if the loan is granted at the same time that the application is made or if there is a waiting time.
And also if once granted I can reject it without any cost.
I ask this because I am trying to decide in between studying my master in UK or somewhere else and do not want to do things wrong.

You will only get your postgraduate loan paid to you when you have officially registered at your university (usually this is in person during Freshers Week). If you don't register anywhere, then you will need to contact Student Finance to let them know that you aren't attending that university anymore. There won't be any penalties.
