EPQ

Would doing an EPQ on the minds of serial killers be good? What could I talk about in my essay?
Yes it would be an interesting topic to look into as long as it doesn't cross over with your current studies.Depending on what your question would be dictates what you can talk about. For example my EPQ was 'an investigation into capital punishment and whether it is an effective deterrent' in which I was able to talk about it's history, cost, innocence, ethnicity, class and religion etc.You may be able to look at the extent to which the brain structure differs between serial killers and normal people using secondary research from past studies looking into this.Or you could look at whether serial killers are derived more from biology or their environment and look at different factors like brain structure, family background (parental figures or institutionalised), income , class and ethnicity and look at some serial killers and see if these factors influenced them

ahh, thank you.
For resources, I've been thinking of using Netflix documentaries and online research etc etc but I want to get some primary research too through contacting specialists. What kind of specialists do you recommend? I was thinking of emailing Criminology professors at universities but that's the furthest I've gotten. Is this even possible? :///
