in the long run the lockdown is probably causing you more money.

You have payed for lessons in a classroom and you are either not getting those lessons at all, or are receiving a sub standard web tutorial instead.
I somehow have over £2k spare in my account, so although I can't think what the hell I'd have spent that money on, I guess I fritter more than I think.
All those Nandos I've avoided, saving my bank balance being destroyed :daydreaming:

However, I'm now shopping at much more expensive supermarkets than I used to due to the virus.

So swings and roundabouts innit?:burnout:

Yes until I started buying **** from google play games out of boredom.
Yes I've saved so much.

Lost my easter holiday job which would have netted me £1200, got furlough payment because I've been there a while but was only £200 since they calculated my average hrs over the entire past year and not just the weeks I worked :frown:

But I've probably saved maybe £600-800 if I have to stay at home until the end of May. So overall I'm probably just breaking even from my losses tbh :/

Very true
No.
6 weeks not having to commute = £810 saved
Gym membership freeze & partial refund for March = £190 saved
Sold back some of my holiday leave as unable to use = around £500

That's £1.5k before even thinking about anything else.

I know i'm one of the lucky ones, but having been made redundant twice by the age of 25, I think i'm due a bit of luck tbh.
Well I've definitely saved money from not buying chips for lunch every week at uni
Uhm hmmm lets see....

Spoiler

Yes.

Used to eat out like twice per week, now zero, = like £50pw
Used to drive into the hills sometimes, now can't, = like £5pw
Gym membership on hold = £5pw
Got a couple free lunches out of it = +£10
Refund on car insurance = £25.
Wife decided to return to work for 2.5 months rather than taking some time off = +£6,000

So yeah quite a lot!
