psychology conversion masters

Hi,

Sorry if these are stupid questions, my careers service hasn't been helpful and the internet seems very out of date on this topic!

I graduated with a middling 2:1 political sciences degree from a good uni in 2019.

I've been undecided about what to do since then, and have held a temporary job just to pass the time. However, I recently heard about psychology conversion degrees and have become really excited.

Psychology was the degree I wish I had done but didn't for various family reasons.

I have two main questions, I've tried looking online but there isn't much up to date information I can find on conversion degree

1) what are the best universities in terms of the course/ employability. And is a mid 2:1 in a social science rather than a hard science good enough for those universities?

2) what sort of careers does this open up? Can it be treated as a normal psychology masters? How much further study would be necessary before I could look at a career in psychology.
