What university?
Hi, I've just finished school and am going into college to do applied science, history and health and social care because I want to become a midwife and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to what university Is best for midwifery . Thank you .
I went to De Monfort University for a foundation course (I am also born and bred from Leicester) and their Health & Social Care courses, including Midwifery are supposed to be one of the best, apparently. The university is (literally) next door to one of the city's main hospitals and I believe students get placements there.
Honestly whoever you speak to will have a different opinion on this. The best thing to do is to research on all the different university websites and book to visit them on open days. Talk to the staff, explore the town/city locations. You'll usually find you immediately like the vibes of one or two universities in particular over the others, and these will be different
