As you stated, a lot of universities are choosing to undergo online learning for the time being due to the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19. However, this does not necessarily mean you need to delay your plans if you want to study a Masters this year. I would recommend double checking with universities to see how they expect to deliver their programmes in the coming academic year. This might help to influence your decision as to whether you should apply this year, or wait.
