Architecture at UCL- opinions and some advice?

I'm applying for 09/10 entry, and I have these A2 levels:

Fine Art: C
English Lang/Lit: A
Media: A
Classic Civ.: C
Spanish: D

So not amazing... but alright. I have a 2:1 Certificate of Higher Education in English from Brunel University, which I left after my first year- worst place ever. I would discourage any serious student from going there, honestly.
My question is do you think UCL will accept me with AAC, when the C is in Art? They ask for ABB normally...

Also, anyone studying architecture there, how do you find it?
AAC with Media Studies just isn't credible.
Architecture at UCL is a ridiculous amount of work, certainly the degree I've seen the people spend the most time working on. If you don't, you're stuffed - I know one guy who's simply not going back next year as a result of his grades.

well, thanks for being honest, i suppose. But if they take into account that I will be working as an adminstrator in an architects firm over the following year, you think I have any more of a chance? one years experience is pretty golden- even if it is only admin. i'm not being unrealistic, just wondering.

also, i have 13 gcse's all at A/A*- it's just my a2s that went sour.

Why don't you ring up UCL and ask the admissions tutor, as you'll get the best answer:smile:
