How much is the average flat to rent in London?

Ideally East London
Or Central London

I've already tried those sites, but I want to know what prices I can trust that are legit and not likely a scam.

Could you give a number?
And what's your monthly salary though? If you don't mind me asking

im 17, still in school and live with my mum so i don't pay the rent as i only have a weekend job. she gets around 2.5k a month.
But you need to be very specific. 2 or 1 bed? What post code?
Flats in my neck of the woods are £300 per month less than flats 1 tube station nearer London. Less than 10 min walk

£300 a month?! where's that if you don't mind me asking?
in a good location, £1600 a month for a decent two bed flat would be pretty standard
If you're looking to flat share, which is cheaper it is probably like £600-800 a month. If you just want to live on your own it's probably £1300+
