Finding a Host Family

Does anyone have any information on how you can find host families for a student?

Host families for what? Uni or A levels?
If uni, then why would you want one? Would have to check they exist.
A level ones do, but its a paid for service.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it would be for someone doing A Levels who is on a waiting list for accommodation at the college so just exploring other options for accommodation. Do you know how you find out about them as I see it is often for overseas students?

I would stick with the college as they will vet students.
You college will vet people and imo be less avaricious, but compare the prices.
Ask the college about the chances of finding someone before term starts as its not that long?

Unclear where you want it and sometimes host family services specialise in certain schools.
