Funding for a career change (Occupational Therapy)

Hi
I have been offered a place to study Occupational Therapy. I already have a degree and a Masters - I have been a teacher for 12 years. I finished my Masters last year. It was my Masters that has made me want to career change as it ignited an interest in me.

I know that NHS courses such as Occupational Therapy mean you can apply for a second degree tuition fee loan, but I am suddenly worried that my Masters will stop me getting that funding. I haven't seen anything about it, but I'm suddenly worried.

Can anyone reassure me?
Hey! Congratulations on your place :smile: Occupational Therapy is an exceptions degree, which means that you'll always be eligible for a loan from Student Finance England, even if you already have a degree, so don't panic!

You should also be eligible for the £5,000 a year bursary towards your course fees, so make sure to apply for that too. Details in the link below:
