What has been your biggest problem at university?

This is a question for both freshers and other students. Mine has been meeting people that I really connect with and have tried things but still no luck. I would like to know what other people think and if you could answer the questions below so that we can all help each other out as I am sure we have similar issues.

When I was at uni, I really struggled living with my flatmates. Over the course of the 3 years, I had different flatmates each year (except for 1 which stayed the same for 2nd/3rd year). We just had very different views on what made a good flatmate, what it meant to be clean and respectful. Despite discussions and trying to come to a compromise, everything failed and it ended up being a moderately miserable existence in the flat. I moved out as soon as I possibly could and haven't spoken to any of them since. People are just brought up to have different views about what is an acceptable way to live.
