Year 13 summer 2021
Hey so I really want to have a break after my a levels and am not sure what to do. My original plan was to do something like camp America or camp Canada but now a levels got moved they all start too early. I looked at ICS but cant tell if it is going ahead this year. Has anyone got any suggestions/ what are you doing?

Hi!
In my gap year I worked full time. This was to save money for university, as i knew the loan I received wouldn't cover my accommodation costs. It also gave me a lot more work experience, which is beneficial for the future.
Then at the end of the year I went travelling for a bit, because it's what I always wanted to do.
The mix of work and travelling made my year a lot more balanced.
