What does it mean 'look after yourself'

If it is said after every text lol.

It means go the gym and work out hard for one hour. Then eat healthy dinner. Do not drink, do not listen to Boris, do not engage with toxic gfs/bfs, do not start Snapping and IGing, read an informative book on history or s'mthing, and then go to bed early. Voila! U have "looked after urself."

It does not mean to follow candy's lockdown party advice even tho' mine is much more fun... LOL!

Look after yourself to me means to take time for yourself and have life's essentials.

Depends in what context it is used. Could just be like "take care/See you later" platitude or could be a threat to watch your back.
