What would you do?

Suppose that you had been talking to someone online for months, and arrange a date. Yet, you have never seen this person before, and upon arriving at the agreed place, you are not attracted to them.

Would you...

1. Let them know
2. Simply walk away
3. Carry on with the date

3. Carry on the date.
You never know fully if you like someone without trying, see how the date goes. If you vibe together and their personality is great then you can always form a friendship rather than a relationship. That is if physical attraction is a deal breaker for you.
Carry on with the date, just to cover all bases. If it still doesn't work out, you can leave it at that and turn down any plans for future dates.

1 or 2 would be extremely rude. However the situation you describe is why blind dates are frequently awful as one or other side inside feels that way. A date without enthusiasm is painful, I’d rather have a job interview
Carry on with the date (after all it is planned) but then tell them you're not attracted to them afterwards and say it's best to stay friends (and if you don't want to be their friend after that because it's shocked you too much, then slowly stop responding to messages)
