Need help finding what unis to apply to with a btec (want to do biomed and then med)

I'm in my 2nd year of applied science level 3 extended diploma in which I'm predicted a D*D*D (could get D*D*D* - still unclear) and I need to find unis in london that have a course in biomedicine, accept btec, and will let me change my course in the first year in order to change it to medicine. If there are any other routes into medicine through my BTEC please let me know.. REALLY STRUGGLING I severely regret picking btec and not a level when I know I could've done really well.. :frown: any help would be appreciated
I am not aware of any universities that accept BTECs for Medicine. Try asking in the medicine forum. They have more expertise there.
And Graduate Entry Med (GEM) is even more compeieive than 5 year medicine - and you wont get full funding for a second undergrad degree.

If you go to a low-achieving school etc you may be eligible for Gateway courses offered at some Unis - and many of these (not all) do accept BTEC.
Thee are one year Foundation style courses that leads automatically to that Un;is 5 year course and are designed as part of their Widening Partciapation committment. You must meet the eligibility criteria in full to apply - each may be slightly different so check carefully. Here are two examples and there are others.

Hull-York - https://hyms.ac.uk/medicine/medicine-with-a-gateway-year
