Is a 2 year accelerated degree worth it?

Im thinking of doing liberal arts at st mary's 2 years accelerated degree.
I have a conditional place to study Sanskrit and Oriental Studies at Oxford , however I need A A A , and during my course I have experienced living on my own for the first time , eviction , brief homelessness , some mental health issues , my attendance at college is only 50% now so I think I will probably only be able to get Bs and Cs. There is no other Uni in the UK that offers degrees specialising in south asian studies/indian languages/etc , and i feel i will lose motivation doing a degree that im not interested in , so I just thought I would do the 2 year liberal arts degree accelerated to get it over with , and then be able to an MA in something im actually interested in. Is it worth it do you think? The course is longer , with an extra semester on the end , so would the work actually be more intensive/stressful , as the year is longer (a normal degree has 1 and half years of holidays apparently) and the work would be spread out just like over a 3 year degree? Will a 2 year degree be internationally recognised , as I'm thinking I'd like to do my MA in India
Thanks
Mmm, not sure about the statement, "There is no other Uni in the UK that offers degrees specialising in south asian studies/indian languages/etc"

Check out SOAS or Sheffield Uni
I did a 2 year degree in law. (Had to be a graduate for most places that offer that). It was slightly more modules per year and less optional modules.
Main issue was - you get no first year practice run at exams /essays. All module results count towards final degree (though you get a practice essay in most modules too)
The end degree is just as good as any other.
Now whether it’s worth doing ANY degree just to get it over with and onto masters, I doubt it. Masters is sooo quick -most modules last 10 weeks for me, then onto next one.
