Completing undergraduate course in a shorter amount of time

Are there any universities which allows one to take on a greater course load and get the required credits in a shorter period of time, like in the US?

A few universities do "accelerated" 2 year degrees, but they are not particularly popular, what subject are you interested in. They require intensive teaching over the summer when many academics are expecting to be in the lab / office getting some research or grant writing done or preparing for the next round of teaching. They also tend not to leave much space for a student maturing over time as some ideas take a while to “bed in”. Pretty much no-one really “gets” something like the Fourier transform the 1st few times round .

University of Buckingham has had it as a selling point for years - but other places also have some accelerated degrees - there's a button for 'accelerated' in ucas course finder

Just looking at Buckingham's website and it's got a campus in Crewe... wonder if it's Manchester Mets old place? https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/manchester-metropolitan-university-crewe-campus-12232509
