retaking year 12?

I am in year 12 studying maths chem and geography, my recent predicted grades are A*AA, however, i really cannot stand geography anymore. I am considering self-teaching myself AS physics for the remainder of this school year, or asking to resit year 12 instead. do you have any advice?

physics is the hardest a level to do, so im not sure if you could teach yourself the whole AS, are there any other subjects you could do that are easier? im also in the same postion as you as i cannot stand one of my subjects and will be asking to change subjects which would involve me self-teaching, however this will be sociology which ive heard is easy
