Anything with linear in the name sounds much more pleasant than anything with nonlinear in it.

Very true. But linear circuits are incredibly DULL. And I tend to get confused between all the different terms.
is it just me or is the concept of 'Linear circuits' something of an oxymoron?

In other news, sainsburys now do Reggae Reggae chicken pasties! nom
 i've just had a whole nine hours of sleep !! I didn't know that was even possible

Hmm, I know hardly any electronics, but I'm assuming circuits that lead to nonlinear equations are easy enough to construct.

They are, but not so easy to design when you they are in AC with inductors and capacitors. Makes imaginary quantities float up everywhere, which complicate matters.

And I see what you mean Amy :p:

True, although some are a bit weird, because they don't ask for bank account number... they must use it for identity theft...

and the worse thing is... createa a fake email address, go to an internet cafe... and no one can trace you (well I guess they can... but its easy to pull of shall we say)

I'm not sure, but you can tweak the sensitivity of the Junk Mail filter in Manage>Junk Mail and setting the number to a lower figure.
I always get those job offer ones, along with the odd 419 scam.
GAAA.

I am so bad at working in the early afternoon. I've just spent 2 hours staring at my notes thinking about someething completely different. I've also only just realised that my room has been heating up. Window open, brain now beginning to work again...
I've just spent an hour and a half trying to fix my iTunes after various meddling boys managed to delete half my music instead of writing my first ever Russian essay. The essay is on a passage that I don't entirely understand and was hoping to go through in a supervision. Poop.

Meddling is what boys do best

Last night celebrating chinese new year in someone's room, we ended up finding the limit of her mini hand-driven paper shredder  Then fixing it when it inevitably went wrong. And cleaning up the tea from the shredded tea bags.

Ouch. If it's been deleted from your hard disk as well then you'll have to recover it from your iPod, assuming you haven't synced it in the meantime...

There are various file restoring programs available for free as well, if a -lot- of music you don't have/don't want to download again went missing.
