1) Mathematics (Maths with Physics option)
2) STEP II, STEP III
3) Predicted - 3A*s and 2A’s in Maths, FM, Physics, Chemistry, and AS level English respectively
4) Seems like a very friendly college, good location, excellent food and accommodation, and Stephen Siklos was professor here!

Hey!
1) History
2) HAA (only if I get an interview)
3) A Levels: predicted A*, A*, A for History, English Literature and Biology
GCSEs: 99999888877 (not as high as a lot of applicants but I was pretty happy with them)
4) I was originally planning to apply to Christ's and it was really a last minute decision but honestly the only reason is I used to binge watch PaigeY's YouTube videos and thought it seemed like a friendly environment (also the Jesus library!)
Good look with interviews/admission tests everyone! :smile:

Hi there,

Not an applicant, but just dropping in to say Jesus is the most awesome college in Cambridge, in my opinion!

When I went to Cambridge in the summer, an applicant and his parents said Jesus was the only college accepting visitors, so props to them!

The college is really tranquil as well as breathtakingly beautiful! It was a boiling hot day, so we were glad of the amazing bar, which looks like a very upmarket greenhouse!

If you want to see more of Jesus, take a look at the who dunnit series professor T. The professor is based at Jesus college, though bizarrely most of it is filmed in Belgium where the original series was written

Hey!
1. History
2. HAA, if selected for an interview
3. GCSE- ten 9s, C in admath
IB predicted 45/45 with History, English, and Philosophy at higher level.
4. seems friendly with a nice location and I live the current head of Jesus and the direction she's taking the college

lmfao idk, they only had 16 applicants for it last year so people probably trying to game the system (which never works)

yeah what makes it weirder is that 2017-8 they had one of the highest, if not the highest, number of History applications.
ig everyone got scared off by that for a bit and now its back to insane numbers- atleast theres pooling!

I haven't (also applying for History) and I don't remember seeing any invites from Jesus on the Cambridge applicants forum, hopefully soon!
I'm really hoping my interview (if I get one) is towards the middle of December rather than the beginning as I feel very unprepared right now :frown:

Same here. I applied for HSPS and I’m really hoping interviews are late dec if I get one hopefully.

yeah the 5th-14th range really isn't giving me too much hope- best case scenario and its only a month away. I think if I get an interview I'll just let school deadlines fall away a bit!

According to JNet, it's between 7th Nov and 21st Nov. I suppose most humanities students and those who have an at interview test will definitely hear back in this time period. They had given the same time frame for applicants last year as well, but I know an Engineering student who got his interview on the 23rd and same for a mathmo as well. So I suspect courses with pre interviews tests and/or without at interview tests will probably hear towards the end of the period or a couple of days after it.
