am i able to achieve DMM?

i got my exam results last week. i study health and social care and I got a pass in unit 3 and a near pass in unit 4. today is the deadline to decide whether I want to resit or not.

overall I've got, 3 passes, 1 merit and 4 distinctions and 1 near pass

Surely you have to resit unit 4 if you've failed it - unless you want the whole qualification to be useless?

i didn't fail i got a near pass.
