N5 English Folio not sent away by teacher

I need some advice on what to do, I am ment to be doing National 4 and 5 English but apparently I was moved down to only doing National 4 but I wasnt told about it. The head of department went through all the English folios and took mine out the pile. The SQA co ordinator at my school has still entered me for the N5 exam but im pretty sure if there is no folio i wont be awarded any marks for the exam. This has just stressed me out so much as English was the only National 5 I would have been sitting and im leaving at the end of S4. The reason I was told that I was moved down was because of my Prelim grade but I have improved alot since then. I genuinely have no idea what to do.
