Postgrad Accommodation Advice

Hi all! I've just got accepted into a CDT to study towards a doctorate and as such I'll be moving to the new uni. However, I'm not sure whether to go into halls or find a houseshare with people in my cohort. There are pros and cons to both and I'm torn between either. So, any advice or input would be massively appreciated!

Hi there,
First of all - congratulations on getting accepted onto your postgrad! It's entirely up to you. Maybe ask yourself what matters most to you when it comes to accommodation. Do you want to live with others in a shared flat but have your own ensuite or would you prefer your own space (e.g. living in a self-contained studio) but still have the opportunity to socialise? It may be worth listing each of your options (I'd definitely suggest looking at private student accommodation as well as halls and houseshares) and list the pros and cons of each.

Hope this helps!

- Sophie
