The UK seems to be stagnating very badly. They're nowhere near as powerful as they were back in WWII...

But the UK is stagnating while the US is growing, other countries are doing better than us (even Russia)

Regardless of the decline, the UK are still ways ahead of 90%+ of world nations

Many of them are so undeveloped, we should be ahead anyway, and we should keep our position. 2-3% GDP growth per year is sometimes touted as "ideal"

We have bigger challenges to face than most nations
