Not shortlisted for a job - should I reapply
I am in the process of applying for my first job. I am not being called into the interviews, however, I see schools reposting the same jobs. I suspect, initially, my personal statement did not tick all the marks and I have rewritten it since first applying.
Is it typical to reapply? Or if they didn't shortlist you initially it's futile to try again? I tried calling a few for feedback - they don't provide feedback unless shortlisted, which is frustrating because I don't know if it's my qualifications or the personal statement. I also don't want to waste my time redoing all the paperwork.

So long as they’re not specifying “previous applicants need not reapply”, then sure.
