Day in the life of a Computer Game Development Student

The computer game industry is experiencing rapid growth, and a new PwC report says this growth is set to continue. It is estimated that this could be worth £257 billion by 2026.

Daniel Roberts is a Computer Game Development with us at Wrexham Glyndŵr University and has given us insight into a day in the life on his course. Follow along as Daniel takes us through his day at the Level Up conference, held at the Wrexham Campus.

In his blog, Daniel explains: “Events like Level Up really enhance an already engaging degree as it gave us the chance to interact with professionals in the industry relating to my studies.”

The conference includes guest visits from across the games industry including an art director Alan Mealor, a freelancer Lucy Dove, a journalist Alex Humphreys and a geographer Kate Edwards.
