UKRI Increases 2023-24 Stipend To £18,622

The latest UKRI stipend increase has come around, and I'm afraid it isn't great. The new figure of £18,622 is an increase of 5.4% over last year's stipend of £17,668. Inflation over the past year has been around 10.1% according to the ONS, so in real terms an equivalent amount to last year would be £19,452 (£830 more than the new stipend).
